Mission Statement

The mission of Dunlap Leadership Academy is to daily practice the behaviors and values embodied in DLA P.R.I.D.E. and to provide rigorous, academic content integrated with technology in an environment that fosters the development of critical and independent thinking and learning. Perseverance, pride, integrity, drive and excellence are the leadership qualities we desire all graduates to take with them into college or career endeavors.

About Us

In the Dunlap Leadership Academy™ program, we know that each person learns differently and we embrace those students who need another option for their high school education. The online program at Dunlap Leadership Academy is available to students in Fresno county and surrounding counties. We provide the following resources for every one of our students so that they can graduate and find success:
Caring Teachers
California-credentialed teachers are on-demand via phone, email, or instant message. Teachers are available for 1:1 interaction 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday.
High Quality Courses
Our comprehensive program offers access to a wealth of online courses in six subject areas.
A Real High School Diploma
Our program is offered by an accredited, public charter school so when you graduate, you'll receive a real high school diploma.
State-of-the-Art Learning
Whether it’s from the comfort of your own home or through our brand new, state-of-the-art learning facility, you can be sure that you’re getting a quality high school education.
Proven Technology
Learn and communicate with your teachers in our safe, secure online environment. Get up-to-date progress reports at any time to help you track your progress.
Special Report:
For the 2012-2013 school year, DLA registered a 123-point increase to its API score, the largest year-over-year increase of any school in Fresno County.
In 2015 DLA was awarded a 6 year WASC accreditation.
